It seemed to be finally fixed with N975FXXU3CTC9 update. For a few hours I was able to normally use my devide while listening to the music and switch LDAC quality to highest. Wifi, location – all that was ON. However after factory reset the problem is back. I have no idea what made that problem go away…

Sound is stuttering while using LDAC with maximum quality 990kbps settings. This started to happen after Android 10 update. The problem only exists when screen is on, so it is literally impossible to listen with max sound quality and browse internet, facebook and so on. This is unacceptable for flagship device like Note10.
The sound quality can be also set to \”preferr quality\” with official Sony music player but this gives the same effect. Here I don’t have the Sony app to highlight that this is the Samsung’s problem.

Terrible stutter on note 10+ 5g using LDAC at 990 kbs (optimised for best audio)
Hi, I can’t seem to use ldac on the highest quality settings.
The music just stutters like crazy, highest I can go seems to be 660kbs.
I never had this issue with other brands, like HTC.
When using pie, I could use the workaround of disabling location, although that is not ideal at all, at least there would be less stutter.
Since updating to android q, no matter what I try, music just stutters like crazy using LDAC at 990 kbs.
Can’t be right for a flagship phone.

Got a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3’s today. The headphones support SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC Bluetooth Codecs but according to the App its only ussing AptX. It looks like the Note 10+ should support LDAC which I’m told is one of the best. I can turn it on in the developer menu, but then it just seems to turn off and go back to AptX.
Any idea how to get it working?

Sometimes, a manual selection of codecs will be required and this is possible on your Android smartphone. The only thing you need to make sure is that your earphone or headphone is compliant. Do note that LDAC and aptX HD compliant products are usually costlier than aptX compatible ones.
